Skydiving for MIND in Harrow – Raj has finally done it
Skydiving for MIND
After many attempts Raj has final done it, jumped out of a perfectly good plane and all in the name of a great cause, although he was beaten to it by Michael and Usman who completed their jump a few weeks ago. We do need to point out that the delays were not of Raj’s making, rather the weather was not right for skydiving on the previous attempts. Having received the call last week that the weather forecast was good, Raj got himself prepared and set off for the airfield. Finally, the weather held out and everything was set. Following the safety briefing they took off in wonderful conditions and without so much as a flinch, Raj, strapped to his instructor launched out of the plane and if you watch the video you can clearly see that Raj was enjoying every second. As you know, this jump was all part of The Charterhouse Challenge, raising money for our charity of the year MIND in Harrow. All of the events in the Charterhouse Challenge will challenge those taking part, taking them out of the comfort zone to achieve goals that they might not otherwise have achieved. We have set up a Just Giving page for the challenges and any help you can give will be greatly appreciated by the charity.
