Staff development doesn’t stop just because of Covid-19

Over the past few months Charterhouse, like the rest of the world, has had to adapt how we work, embracing new technology and adopting the latest digital platforms to enhance the services we provide our clients.

Working from the comfort of our homes, the business continues to evolve and evaluate how we can best continue moving forward, away from being “just accountants” to becoming a team of advisors working with our clients to deliver the best value for them, their assets and businesses.

Charterhouse puts a lot of emphasis on training and development as we understand that we need to equip our staff with the right skills and knowledge to achieve these goals. Furthermore, through our performance management processes we identify those members of the team who are ready to take on a greater area of responsibility, building on their specialist skills. As a result of this work we are pleased to announce that in addition to the team growing through recruitment we have also made a number of internal promotions.

We would like to welcome Ahsan Rashid, who joined Charterhouse 20 April 2020, as an Accounts Semi Senior, and congratulate the following team members on their new roles.

• Cem Soydner has become an Associate and will now oversee a portfolio of clients as opposed managing our accounts and audit department
• Poonam Madani has been promoted to Accounts Manager where she will be responsible for delivering client accounts
• Rob Ward has been promoted to Small Business Unit Manager giving him responsibility for delivering all small accounts, bookkeeping & VAT related matters
• Necla Roglic is now Audit Manager overseeing our audit work.

All of our team have been incredible since the lockdown and have adapted extremely well to the change in working practices. As we and they evolve we have the chance to develop our services and at the same time develop our staff.
